Nava@eTech Logo & Debate Competition 2024-26 Batch

 REPORT:

The Nava@eTech Club, in collaboration with the IQAC Cell, organized a morning program on the 10th of October 2024, at 9:30 AM in the Multipurpose Hall of Navajyothi College of Teacher Education for Women, Olarikkara. The program comprised the release of the NaDiMa Digital Magazine, the release of the Official Logo of Nava@eTech Club, the launch of the official YouTube channel of the Nava@eTech Club, Debate Competition and prize distribution for Logo competition and Debate Competition.

The event commenced with a prayer recited by Ms. Revathi K and Ms. Anu K J. Ms. Ann Mariya C. served as the compere for the ceremony ensuring the smooth progression of the event. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Anu Ann Antony. The official release of the NaDiMa Digital Magazine and the unveiling of the Nava@eTech Club logo were conducted by the Principal, Rev. Sr. Dr. Gigi Paul. This marked a significant milestone for the club, further solidifying its presence in the digital sphere.

A debate competition on the topic "AI in Education is a Boon" was also conducted as part of the program. Two students from each subject option participated, with a total of twelve participants, who were divided into two groups: one supporting and the other opposing the motion. Sr. Mariam Anand from the Mathematics option moderated the debate, while Ms. Anu Ann Antony acted as the timekeeper. The judging panel comprised Ms. Anvy Vincent from the Physical Science option, Ms. Ruby A from the Natural Science option, and Ms. Pearly Peter from the English option. Ms. Pearly Peter, representing the Judging Panel, delivered the final verdict. The group in favor of the motion, which included Ms. Aswathy A
B (Mathematics), Ms. Iris Sunny (Mathematics), Ms. Archana N S (Natural Science), Ms. Amrita Nandakishore (English), Ms. Anila K J (Physical Science), and Ms. Vinisha B (Malayalam), emerged as the winners of the competition.

The Logo Competition, held on 7th October 2024 at the ICT Lab, saw Ms. Jesni Joy from the Physical Science option being declared the winner. The announcement of the winners, along with the prize distribution for the Debate Competition and the Logo Competition, was presided over by the Principal, Rev. Sr. Dr. Gigi Paul. Felicitations were offered by Dr. Mary Ann Paul, Rev. Sr. Dr. Gigi Paul, and Smt. Nisy Mickel T., who expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the students and the success of the event.
