Digital Workshop - Preparation of ICT teaching learning aids

 

ORIENTATION FOR DIGITAL WORKSHOP 2023-25

An orientation programme for the digital workshop which was to be conducted on 7th and 10th June was conducted in the multi-purpose hall at 2.00 pm on 04/06/2024, Tuesday. This was to provide necessary guidelines regarding the smooth conduction of the digital workshop.

 



DIGITAL WORKSHOP 2023-25

REPORT

The digital workshop on teacher enrichment for the student teachers of 2023-25 batch took place on 7th and 10th June, 2024. It was organized in collaboration with IQAC for the preparation of ICT teaching learning aids at the computer lab of Navajyothi College of Teacher Education for Women, Olarikkara from 9.30am to 4.00pm.

 

 

NATURAL SCIENCE






The digital workshop for the student teachers of Natural Science option took place on June 7, 2024, began at 9:30 AM. Students created the required files, which included a digital chart, an interactive PowerPoint presentation, and a live video, following the instructions given during the orientation class. The topic given was 'Parts of Brain' from the chapter 'Sensations and Responses' of class 10 Biology. The two-hour workshop utilized apps such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, and InShot for preparation. The workshop concluded at 11:30 AM, with students uploading their completed materials to their personal blogs and YouTube channels.

SOCIAL SCIENCE




On June 7 2024, an ICT Workshop for the Social Science option was conducted from 11.45 am to 1.45 pm. 17 students participated in the workshop, which focused on the topic “Ozone as an umbrella for the earth” from the chapter “Blanket of the earth” of the class 8 Social Science subject. The students were tasked with preparing an interactive presentation incorporating photos, digital charts, videos, and activities. The students uploaded their completed materials to their personal blogs and YouTube channels.

 

PHYSICAL SCIENCE


On June 7th, 2024, an ICT workshop for the Physical Science option was conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. 16 students participated in the workshop, which focused on the topic “Characteristics of Metals” from the chapter “Metals” of the class 8 Basic Science subject. The students were tasked with preparing an interactive presentation incorporating photos, digital charts, videos, and activities. After completion, the students were asked to upload presentations in their own YouTube channel and blog.

     ENGLISH






On 10.06.2024 at 9:30 to 11:30 am Navajyothi College of Teacher Education for Women 2023-2025 Batch conducted Digital workshop. As a part of Digital workshop, the Student Teachers of English Option created power point presentations and live videos. The topic given was ‘grammar.’ Nisy teacher gave us the instructions regarding the digital workshop. The student teachers completed the workshop by uploading their work to their personal blogs and you tube channels. Digital Workshop went well on Friday with the active participation of the student teachers.

 

MALAYALAM

The digital workshop for the student teachers of Malayalam option took place on June 10 2024, and began at 12 PM. The student teachers created the required files, which included a digital chart, an interactive PowerPoint presentation, and a live video, following the instructions given during the orientation class. The topic given was ‘vazhiyathra’, from chapter 1 ‘eninjanunarnirikkam’, of class 8. It was a two-hour workshop. The utilized applications were Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva and InShot for preparation. The workshop concluded at 2 PM. The student teachers completed the workshop by uploading their completed materials to their personal blogs and YouTube channels.






MATHEMATICS

The digital workshop for the student teachers of Mathematics option took place on June 10, 2024, and began at 2 PM. The student teachers created the required files, which included a digital chart, an interactive PowerPoint presentation, and a live video, following the instructions given during the orientation class. The topic given was ‘sum of angles’, from chapter 3 Polygons, of class 8. It was a two-hour workshop. The utilized applications were Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva and InShot for preparation. The workshop concluded at 4 PM. The student teachers completed the workshop by uploading their completed materials to their personal blogs and YouTube channels.
